pdx loves otis heat?

Have you seen Otis Heat’s video for “Everybody Loves Me The Same Way?” If you haven’t I implore you to check it out at your first convenient opportunity. Let me tell you why I think this Portland band and video is fucking cool. It is a common, oh so simple premise that doesn’t stray from who the band is. It is fun, entertaining, and most of all conceded. I would like to thank the director of this video for turning in a low-fi Terry Gilliam-esque 4 minutes. The video gives off a great Fear & Loathing vibe that makes you feel like you are apart of Sean O’Neill’s (singer) night. And this wasn’t some bogus party. It was a legit Halloween shindig. According to those in attendance everybody was having a grand old time including Sean O’Nell. But then again everybody loves him.
Here is the best part. They have a 4 song pre-ep they are giving away for free and it is extremely listenable. It’s getting plenty of rotation from me. You can download that here…
